Communication Rights: Regional convergence towards an agenda for action
Posted:  January 18, 2006   10:39:07am

This video owes most of its content from a regional conference held in Manila in August 2004, "Communication Rights: Asian Solidarity Towards a Regional Agenda for Articulation and Action", which gathered over forty civil society activists, practitioners, and information rights advocates, from 13 countries all over Southeast, South and East Asia. It is a maiden attempt to identify and understand local, regional, and global realitieswhich shape the main communication rights agenda in Asia.

Produced by the Foundation for Media Alternatives (Philippines) in cooperation with Campaign for Communication Rights in the Information Society (CRIS Campaign) Bread for All - Switzerland, and the Southeast Asia Committee for Advocacy (SEACA).
